What were the first videos you remember seeing on MTV?

Wow... that's a really good question. Let me dig back into my memory for that one. Here are a few: Quit Riot (one of the videos from their first album), Autograph - Turn Up the Radio, Blue Oyster Cult - Dancing in the Ruins, David Bowie - Let's dance.

How to think of Pagerank and Authority

It all flows. Think of it like a river system. The Amazon river has minor tributaries and major tributaries and itself empties into the Pacific Ocean. Think of Google as a rain cloud.

I would give up Facebook. Facebook is a giant black hole of time. Think of the useful things you could have done with that time instead. Youtube offers so much useful stuff from how-tos to music videos.

Top 5 SEO Actions for your SEO Campaign

Another interesting thread I found on SEO Chat was about Top 5 SEO Actions that one should take in their SEO campaigns. I thought there was plenty of good advice... Most of the good advice seemed to swarm around good content in an abstract way. While I think good content is a key to good SEO, I didn't think anyone gave a robust answer for their top 5.

Using Youtube as Part of Your SEO Strategy

I don't participate in forums very often because of the serious problem with noise in the signal to noise ratio, but I have been taking part in the conversation at the SEO Chat forum lately. Someone with a Guitar Lesson website asked about building links to his website.

I thought an obvious method of doing this would be Youtube. Some SEO experts would say that is ludicrous because Youtube doesn't pass link juice. I say those experts aren't experts at all.
